He is best known for formulating Ohm's Law, which articulates the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance in electrical circuits. Ohm's pioneering work in electricity, published in 1827, laid the foundation for future advancements in electromagnetism and electrical engineering. Despite initial resistance from the scientific community, his contributions were eventually recognized, earning him accolades including the Copley Medal in 1841.
